As we approach Week 11 of the college football season, the Ohio State Buckeyes hold the top spot in both the AP Poll and the College Football Playoff rankings. Despite being slightly injured, they have an intriguing matchup with the Michigan State Spartans.

They are attempting to stay healthy in order to be in a fantastic position moving forward, with their eyes set on the College Football Playoff and the final matchup with the Michigan Wolverines to end the regular season.

Everyone is experiencing some kind of injury at this point in the season, but the severity varies. The Buckeyes’ secondary players are dealing with injuries, so let’s talk about them. The team’s star players are all off the injury report.

Behind TreVeyon Henderson, Miyan Williams has been an effective running back for the Ohio State Buckeyes this season. But since he sustained an injury that was not disclosed and will be sidelined for the rest of the season, his season is officially over. Coach Ryan Day gave a media briefing on the circumstances.

This season, Williams recorded four catches for 42 yards (10.5 yards per reception) and 49 rush attempts for 158 yards (3.2 yards per carry) with three rushing touchdowns.

Denzel Burke, a defensive back, has missed two games over the past three weeks due to an ankle injury. He is currently recovering. He was hurt on October 14 against Purdue, missed the game against Penn State on October 21, and made a comeback on October 28 against Wisconsin. But he was carted to the locker room during the fourth quarter due to a non-contact leg injury.

This season, Burke has racked up nine tackles in all, eight pass deflections, an interception, and a forced fumble. It is not anticipated that he will play against Michigan State as there has been no additional information released.

Devin Brown, the backup quarterback, is recuperating from an injury to his lower leg sustained against Penn State. It was anticipated that Day would miss a few weeks due to the injury, and the quarterback reportedly rolled his ankle. He may or may not be available, but in his absence, Tristian Gebbia will be the backup quarterback.
