Arkansas’s FAYETTEVILLE Sam Pittman has grown accustomed to the yearly narrative that Arkansas has the hardest schedule in the nation. Bret Bielema and Chad Morris, the last three head coaches of the Razorbacks, have both experienced this. Pittman remarked, “It’s a gift that keeps on giving.” You know, there appears to be a stretch in there every year, particularly in [2023]. In the last ten years, Arkansas has played 53 games against teams that are ranked. That translates to more than five rated opponents per season on average. The Razorbacks have faced 10 games against opponents ranked either first or second in addition to those rated 20–25. Auburn is the only other SEC team that has a valid complaint regarding a schedule.
