ACCEPT Issues Statement Regarding Absence of Mark Tornillo at Toronto Show

ACCEPT, the renowned heavy metal band, has issued an official statement addressing the absence of their lead singer, Mark Tornillo, during their performance in Toronto, Ontario

In the statement, ACCEPT explained that Tornillo developed severe vocal strain due to a viral infection (not COVID-19) over the past week. Despite his determination to continue, doctors advised a break to prevent further damage to his voice and to ensure the remainder of the tour could proceed as planned.

Consequently, the band had to modify their October 16th show in Toronto and, with a heavy heart, cancel the October 18th concert in Vineland, New Jersey. ACCEPT expressed deep regret for the inconvenience caused to fans and emphasized their commitment to delivering the best possible performances

The band concluded the statement with appreciation for their fans’ understanding and support, assuring them that they would return to the stage soon.
