Mill Hill Operations Temporarily Suspended Amid Ongoing Safety and Security Concerns

In response to escalating issues and increasing concerns over public safety, operational integrity, and community welfare, we are announcing an emergency shutdown of all activities and operations currently underway at the Mill Hill facility, effective immediately. This decision, while difficult, has been made with the utmost concern for the safety of our staff, contractors, residents, and surrounding communities.

The ongoing situation at Mill Hill—escalating since the early hours of July 17, 2025—has prompted urgent internal and external reviews. A combination of structural, environmental, and operational tensions have reached a critical threshold, compelling the decision to suspend all activities until further notice. We understand this abrupt action may cause disruption; however, the health and security of all involved must take precedence.

At this time, the following actions have been taken:

• Immediate evacuation procedures have been enacted and completed for all non-essential personnel.

• All power and utility lines into and out of the facility have been safely isolated.

• Emergency services, including fire response, environmental control teams, and security officials, have been deployed to monitor the situation on a 24/7 basis.

• A full risk assessment is underway to determine the root causes of the current tensions, which may include industrial, environmental, or external stressors.

We recognize that Mill Hill plays a critical role in regional infrastructure, and we do not take this shutdown lightly. Over the past several weeks, tensions surrounding the site—including concerns raised by community members, whistleblowers, and independent safety auditors—have grown significantly. While some of these concerns remain under investigation, our obligation is to act preemptively rather than reactively.

An independent oversight committee has been established to oversee the review process. Their mandate includes:
