Manuel Locatelli, a 25-year-old midfielder for Juventus, is a target for West Ham United.
Manuel Locatelli is reportedly desired by West Ham United, per a Calciomercato report. The 25-year-old midfielder has been playing a great role for Juventus lately, and England in particular has been paying close attention to him. It might cost up to €40 million to get him to leave the Allianz Stadium.

Locatelli joined Sassuolo in quest of regular first-team football after rising through the ranks at AC Milan. He joined Juventus in the summer of 2021 after establishing himself as a player for Sassuolo in the Italian top division. The loan was extended from its initial two years to a permanent one last summer.

Since moving to Turin, the 25-year-old’s life has not been entirely easy. He hasn’t been able to settle in because there has been a lot going on at the club in the background. Furthermore, in the early going, he struggled to adapt to Massimiliano Allegri’s style.

However, recently, things have changed for the better, and he is now a regular under Allegri. Furthermore, Locatelli’s significance has grown dramatically since Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli are no longer available. Fagioli has been suspended due to bet violations, while Pogba has tested positive for doping.

Despite being a vital member of the Juventus first team and having a contract with them that expires in the summer of 2026, Locatelli may yet be traded in the near future due to the amount of interest from England.

One team that is eager to have him join them is West Ham United. David Moyes believes the Italian international would be a fantastic fit for the team. He is constantly searching for ways to bolster his squad.

Declan Rice was sold by the Hammers in the summer, and there’s a good chance Tomas Soucek will depart when his contract expires the following summer. West Ham is eager to have Locatelli join their ranks as a result. The 25-year-old’s current market value is €40 million, and the Hammers can definitely afford to pay that much for the international player from Italy.
