Team news from Palace

Has verified that Ebere Eze and Michael Olise will remain absent when we confront Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Friday night at 8 pm.

Eze, an England international, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since September 30th, and the same issue has affected Olise, the French playmaker who has not made an appearance this season.

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is dealing with a groin issue, and James Tomkins is also expected to be unavailable due to a calf problem.

During his pre-match press conference, Palace manager Hodgson mentioned, “We still have Henderson, the goalkeeper, and we still have Ebere Eze and Michael Olise, so some notable names are still unavailable. In addition, James Tomkins has recently sustained a calf strain.

“It’s not a severe strain that would keep him out for an extended period, unlike the serious injuries endured by Eze, Olise, and Henderson. Other than that, we now have everyone back and ready to play. So, the situation regarding team selection and the bench is significantly different from what it was a few weeks ago.”
