Everton will continue to be without two long-term absentees when they face Burnley in the Carabao Cup.

On Wednesday, November 1, the Blues take on the Clarets at Goodison Park. With a fifth win in their last seven games across all competitions, the team hopes to make it into the competition’s quarterfinals for the first time in three seasons.

Following an impressive, hard-fought victory against West Ham United on Sunday, manager Sean Dyche will be looking to maintain the crucial momentum that has been building in the ranks since an exciting victory at Brentford last month.

The Blues manager may be able to use this opportunity to activate players who have struggled to get playing time in recent weeks, including summer additions Beto and Arnaut Danjuma.

But Everton will still be without André Gomes and Delé, who haven’t played yet in this campaign. Although the club captain has recently been spotted returning to training, neither has Seamus Coleman. But for Coleman, the matchup in the round of 16 might come too soon.

But Ashley Young, who received two yellow cards in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield last month, will be eligible to play again after serving a one-game suspension.

This is the complete roster that Everton will have available to play Burnley on Wednesday night.

Goalkeepers: Joao Virginia, Andy Lonergan, and Jordan Pickford

Ashley Young, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite, Michael Keane, Ben Godfrey, and Vitalii Mykolenko are the defenders.

Midfielders: Dwight McNeil, Amadou Onana, James Garner, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Idriss Gana Gueye

Forwards: Arnaut Danjuma, Jack Harrison, Beto, Lewis Dobbin, Yousesef Chermiti, Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Uncertain: Seamus Coleman

Dele Alli and Andre Gomes are injured.
