The Green Bay Packers and Pittsb will play in Week 10 of the NFL season. The Packers (3-5) would greatly benefit from a urgh Steelersvictory as they look to begin a winning streak and regain their postseason hopes. The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) are trying to stay up with the Baltimore Ravens (7-2) who are leading their division inside their own league.
As the second half of the NFL season approaches, injuries are inevitable. But the Steelers defense has lost a few key games as Sunday draws near.
Montravius Adams, a former third-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers, forfeits his chance to visit Lambeau Field again.
In the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Adams was selected with the 93rd overall choice by the Green Bay Packers. July 5, 2017, was the date he signed his rookie contract.
He suffered a stress fracture in his foot during the first week of training camp, necessitating surgery in August. The operation kept him out of the preseason the entire time. On November 11, 2018, Adams made his first professional sack when he brought down Miami Dolphins quarterback Brock Osweiler.
Adams played for the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots prior to signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 45 games throughout his playing career in Green Bay, he started three of them. Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk claims that:
Fitzpatrick’s hamstring issue will prevent him from playing against the Packers on Sunday. Fitzpatrick was not present for any of the three days of practice, despite head coach Mike Tomlin’s suggestion that he could be able to return.
Cam Heyward, a defensive lineman, is expected to play despite being limited on Wednesday and missing practice on Thursday due to a groin injury. In Friday’s session, he was likewise restricted.
Montravius Adams, a defensive tackle, is out as well due to an ankle injury sustained this week.
Elandon Roberts, a linebacker, is scheduled to play. Although Nick Herbig (calf) was listed as a limited participant on Friday’s injury report, he is still scheduled to participate.
Supporters React to Adams’s Inability to Play at Lambeau Field Again
The news that Adams wouldn’t be able to play in Week 10 surely infuriated fans. Adams has started all eight of the team’s games thus far this season. In addition to forcing a fumble, he has averaging 2.6 combined tackles per game. Adams is ranked 11th out of the 14 Pittsburgh defenders who have played 200+ snaps in 2023 according to PFF’s overall defensive grade.
