‘The best we’ve seen’…The 23-year-old Newcastle player, according to Eddie Howe, is looking better than ever in training.

Before Chelsea, Eddie Howe has selected a Newcastle United player who has impressed him during practice. His inability to play against the Blues is the only problem. He won’t be able to play again until August 2024, in fact.

Sandro Tonali is the man in question; the Italian Football Federation looked into his betting, and as a result, he was suspended from competition until the beginning of the following season.

Losing Tonali has been such a blow. It hurts to know that the 23-year-old is healthy but unable to play given all of our injury problems.

He is prohibited from playing, but not from practicing. Tonali and Newcastle have benefited greatly from that, and manager Eddie Howe has been very complimentary of the midfield player.

Eddie Howe had nothing but praise for Sandro Tonali.

Before Newcastle’s match against Chelsea, Howe gave a press conference. Giving a status report on Sandro Tonali, he praised the Italian for his impressive performance in training.

He said to Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie, “Sandro has been training very well, which makes it even more frustrating that we can’t use him.”

We’ve probably seen him train better than this.

“I would say that he is handling the situation very well; it is a hallmark of his character.”

Tonali is going to return better than ever for Newcastle

Although Tonali’s absence is regrettable, it is encouraging to learn that he is giving it his all in the weight room. As he keeps ticking off the days until his return, it is all he can do.

Even though it’s still a ways off, Tonali ought to be back in top form and fully motivated to make up for lost time.

Given all of the turmoil, Howe thinks the former AC Milan player is handling the situation well, which is wonderful news.

Newcastle, on the other hand, will keep backing Tonali while they look for a replacement in January. Due to their need for an additional midfielder, the Magpies contacted Ruben Neves.

But the speculation about a move for Neves has infuriated Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher, who has stated that the Magpies should make amends for signing Tonali instead of signing a replacement from a PIF-owned team.
