It could be argued that Arizona, with a shot at the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s NFL Draft, should keep Kyler in mothballs.

Star safety Budda Baker (hamstring) may be able to play on Sunday, though. It says “questionable” about him.

ARE OCT 18 CARDINALS BACK TO MAXIMUM POWER? According to a report from Ari Meirov, the NFC West division rival Arizona Cardinals have designated quarterback Kyler Murray and safety Budda Baker for return from injured reserve on Wednesday. This means that the Seattle Seahawks could play a fully healthy Arizona Cardinals team on Sunday.

Murray might be returning to Seattle after playing the majority of the season at center for the Cleveland Browns, whom they acquired via trade before the regular season began.

The former first-round draft pick Murray began the season on injured reserve while he healed from the torn ACL he sustained in the Week 12 loss to the New England Patriots the previous season.

With a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last five games, Baker might also make a comeback on Sunday.

16. OCT. SEAHAWKS ROOKIE SNAPS BENGALS’ TOP RECEIVER – Though DK Metcalf’s prediction came true, the Seahawks did not win in Cincinnati on Sunday. The player from Seattle expressed his belief last week that “Spoon will get the best of him,” and that is precisely what transpired.

After catching 15 passes for 192 yards and three touchdowns the previous game, Seattle’s defense, especially rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon, kept Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase in check.

Chase managed only six catches for 80 yards on 13 targets in Cincy’s 17-13 win, and failed to make a reception on two targets with Witherspoon shadowing him.

Typical of the rookie’s boisterous character, he seemed to let Chase know about it as well.
