Building companies were fined in relation to the death of a carpenter at the Packers Stadium.
(AP) — GREEN BAY, WI Due to a worker’s death at Lambeau Field earlier this year, two construction companies have been fined by federal inspectors. The Green Bay Packers are based out of the stadium. WLUK-According to TV, Joshua Shaw, 27, passed away in June after being hit by a dumbwaiter car while he was operating a video scoreboard inside the stadium. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor fined Miron Construction nearly $19,000 and Mavid Construction approximately $15,600. Following receipt of the citations on November 15, the companies have 15 business days to either comply with the findings or contest them.
