NBA Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks’ “Underrated Trade Target” is the Chicago Bulls vet.

Alex Caruso is most likely the first player that comes to mind for the Milwaukee Bucks when discussing possible trade targets from the Chicago Bulls. Though Zach LaVine has also surfaced as a potential trade target for the Bucks, it seems like Caruso has received the majority of the attention.

It appears that Milwaukee is keeping an eye on another Chicagoan player.

According to Dalton Sell of Behind the Bucks Pass, one player that Milwaukee should keep tabs on is Torrey Craig. Sell presents a handful of compelling arguments as to why the 32-year-old should be considered an “underrated trade target” for the Bucks:

The 6-foot-7 veteran is incredibly versatile, as he can play either forward position and defend a variety of positions. Offensively, he’ll score about six points per game while providing solid 3-point shooting. The Milwaukee Bucks could definitely use another player like that, according to Sell. Craig is a well-traveled NBA veteran who has always served as a credible 3-and-D wing wherever he’s laced them up.

Sell adds that Craig has a very manageable contract, which the Bucks should have no trouble with. The deal for the former standout USC Upstate player runs through 2025. The $2.8 million he is owed for the upcoming campaign is something a financially strapped team like Milwaukee can afford.

LaVine and Caruso will probably be the big names that attract a lot of interest from interested teams if the Bulls decide to blow it up close to the trade deadline. This might provide the Bucks with a fairly clear path to attack Craig.
