CINCINNATI — Following Tee Higgins’ outstanding plays to fill in for Ja’Marr Chase, Vikings all-pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson had nothing but praise for the Bengals star.
Higgins remarked, “I’m happy I was able to do that today,” in reference to his big plays following a difficult stretch of injuries this season.
After a 21-yard touchdown catch from Jake Browning late in the game tied the score and gave Cincinnati an overtime victory, Jefferson told Higgins he “was crazy for” the play.
Regarding the outstanding touchdown play, Higgins remarked, “I knew where I was on the field.” “I was aware that it was a little abrupt. He cut the play a little short, even though we spent the entire week practicing it. He was clearly under pressure, saw it coming, and made a play.”
