Since Jurgen Klopp talked about Diaz’s groin injury sustained against Manchester United, the player’s fitness has been a topic of discussion, and now there is new information.
There is a little more to the story, but the 27-year-old has been cleared to play in Colombia’s friendly match against Spain this evening at the London Stadium (8.30pm UK).
It appears that Liverpool has made it plain that they want Diaz to be handled carefully so as to prevent him from making things worse.
