The Hawks play the Miami Heat at home tonight in the first of their final two regular-season home games. Both teams need to win tonight’s game to advance farther in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament, or in Miami’s case, to advance out of it entirely.

The Hawks hope to turn things around as the regular season draws to a close and play their best basketball here. They enter the game on a two-game losing streak. Atlanta will rely on Dejounte Murray to lead them to a victory at home against Miami as they will be playing without Trae Young.

One of the Hawks’ best players this year, Bogdan Bogdanovic just finished a game in which he shot 75% from three points. Due to his ability to shoot three points and his ability to put up significant scoring totals when he gets going, Bogdanovic is an important component of the Hawks’ offense. A week ago, in a loss to Milwaukee, he scored 38.

Tonight, De’Andre Hunter will be held accountable for much on both ends of the court. Tonight, Hunter, who may be the Hawks’ best perimeter defender, will take turns guarding Jimmy Butler. Even though his offensive output isn’t always consistent, Hunter is one of the Hawks’ most important players on any given night.
