Richie Saunders, a guard for BYU, also stated on Thursday night that he would be returning to Provo. He is currently out of the country.
Young has been managing the Cougars and serving as Frank Vogel’s primary assistant for the Suns since accepting the position of head coach at BYU.
Even though juggling two significant responsibilities can be difficult, Young believes that playing reserve for the Suns will benefit his BYU program.
“I believe that narrating the next phase of BYU’s history is a truly unique experience. Regarding making the most of our hopefully successful playoff run for our players, supporters, recruits, and other reasons, Young stated last week. “I think it’s actually a separator,” the speaker said.
