Seattle (AP) — With a short week and a tough division rival, the Seattle Seahawks could not afford to be careless, inefficient, or have a slow start.

That was precisely what occurred for the first thirty minutes of the 49ers’ 31-13 loss to San Francisco on Thursday night, which once again highlighted the gap that still exists between them and the other teams in the NFC West.
