Despite being recently promoted, McKenna’s team scored 92 goals in 46 games to finish as the division’s top scorers.

The amount of late goals McKenna’s team scored, though, was what had fans on the edge of their seats. After the 76th minute in the previous season, Ipswich scored 25 goals in the Championship, many of which were game-winning goals.
That meant that thirty-two points, or one-third of Ipswich’s total, were earned from losing positions in the previous season.
