Latest transfer news for Ipswich Town: Kieran McKenna discusses plans for transfers and possible player departures
Ipswich Town transfer news latest: Kieran McKenna reveals transfer plans, potential player exit | OneFootball

With just two weeks remaining in the transfer window, Kieran McKenna will need to make any last-minute changes to his Ipswich Town team.

Many had assumed that after being promoted to the Championship, Ipswich would have been far busier given their financial strength.

Though they only added four players to the roster during this transfer window—the core of the team being the one that helped them get promoted from League One—McKinna and Mark Ashton appear to be remaining composed.

Of course, Ipswich, like all the other teams, may think about adding one or two more players to their roster while the window is still open, and there’s also still a chance that a few players could leave.

Having said that, we’ve examined all of the most recent transfer rumours from the Ipswich Town Football Club here.

As previously stated, a lot of people would have thought that Ipswich would have seen more activity than they have, but McKenna and company have been comparatively quiet this summer, and the Ipswich CEO thinks that might continue.

Before their match against QPR, McKenna said that while he thinks there will be movement regarding ins and outs before the deadline of September 1st at 11 p.m., nothing is finalised yet.

Nothing closer, he said, according to TWTD. For any of those exits to occur, a strong and appropriate offer for both the player and the club is required. And thus far, nothing comparable has occurred.

This may be exciting news to the Ipswich faithful, as McKenna is still aiming to bring in some fresh faces before that deadline.
