There is considerable uncertainty around Jordan Love’s future with the Green Bay Packers. At this point, love is more significant than wins and losses because it has improved recently. However, there is still work to be done before the Packers decide to start Love at quarterback in the long run.
Love still has until the end of the season, at the very least, to establish himself, and his performances are beginning to seem promising. That doesn’t, however, mean that the Packers won’t select a quarterback in the draft, particularly if they advance past the first round.
Two second-round picks and two third-round picks belong to Green Bay. With Love’s one-year extension they granted him in the winter, the Packers hedged their bets. Brian Gutekunst, general manager, could follow suit by

If the Packers choose to take Penn State’s Olu Fashanu, who was still available at No. 6 using the simulator, that’s the only way to characterize their first-round selection. Best player versus need is a term we hear a lot. Fashanu answers both questions.
Yosh Nijman was benched by the Packers in favor of second-year wide receiver Rasheed Walker, but Nijman’s future is uncertain because he is a free agent this offseason.
That would be resolved by Fashanu, providing the Packers with a long-term left tackle option and David Bakhtiari’s replacement.
According to Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus, “Olu Fashanu is one of the smoothest movers we’ve seen in pass protection since Tyron Smith and Joe Thomas.”

The Packers’ greatest need is probably at left tackle, and Fashanu has the ability to develop into one of the league’s best pass-protectors.
