NEW DELHI: The Buffalo Sabres secured a 3-1 victory over the Boston Bruins, with goals from JJ Peterka, Tage Thompson, and Victor Olofsson. Sabres goalie Devon Levi made 28 saves, earning his first win since November 10. Levi, who played collegiate hockey at nearby Northeastern University in Boston, showcased a strong performance in net.
Peterka opened the scoring early in the second period, firing a wrister through traffic from the left side after Dylan Cozenswon the faceoff.

Thompson extended Buffalo’s lead with just over three minutes left in the second period, capitalizing on a turnover along the wall and converting a pass fromConnor Clifton.
Brad Marchand responded for the Bruins, scoring less than a minute later with a shot from the right side that deflected past Levi off a defender. However, the Sabres held on to their lead.
In the third period, Olofsson sealed the victory for Buffalo, extending the lead to 3-1 during an odd-man rush.

Linus Ullmark made 33 saves for the Bruins.
